Autumn School on Data Analysis

From October 20 to 28, 2014, the Autumn School on Data Analysis for employees and friends of the International Laboratory of Positive Psychology of Personality and Motivation took place at the HSE Training Centre in Voronovo.

From October 20 to 28, 2014, the Autumn School on Data Analysis for employees and friends of the International Laboratory of Positive Psychology of Personality and Motivation took place at the HSE Training Centre in Voronovo.

The school was chaired by:

• Alexey Vinogradov, Associate Professor at Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University
• Olga Mitina, Senior Research Fellow at Lomonosov Moscow State University
• Evgeny Osin, Leading Research Fellow at the HSE International Laboratory of Positive Psychology of Personality and Motivation, Associate Professor

School participants learned to use R, a programming language for statistical data processing that offers broad opportunities for data analysis in psychological research. They also worked with software for statistical processing, such as EQS and Mplus, which are used for structural modeling.

The atmosphere at the Autumn School on Data Analysis was friendly, productive and collaborative. After completing the school, the inspired participants have continued to master new software and use it for data processing in their research.
