What kind of student does one need to be in order to achieve psychological well-being?
On November 29, 2022, Senior researcher V.Y. Kostenko together with the Head of the Psychology Department M.A. Chumakova held an open seminar "Analysis of the results of monitoring student life in the context of assessing psychological well-being".
The report is devoted to the analysis of the results of Monitoring student life for the period from 2018 to 2021 — in particular, the parameters of well-being, motivation, anxiety and depression. Three stable motivational profiles of students have been identified, which can be considered significant predictors of psychological well-being. With the help of longitudinal data, the trajectories of transformation of the motivational profile throughout the entire study at the university are established. The possibilities of preventive work are discussed for the risk group. Preliminary conclusions are formulated about what intra-university programs can be aimed at to support the well-being of students.
